Jack DeLaughter

Machine Tool Distributor

Born in 1945 in Oklahoma City, Jack DeLaugher became a titan of Oklahoma’s manufacturing industry. Starting in 1976, he built his career selling machine tool equipment to shops across the state. He quickly earned a reputation for unwavering dedication to his customers and strong commitment to his vendors.

Over the years, Jack successfully transitioned from the NC era into the emerging CNC frontier, playing a pivotal role in introducing this advanced technology to the Oklahoma Market. In 1993, Jack made his first sale of a Daewoo machine tool. Then in 1998, he opened his own distributorship in Tulsa – Machine Tool Specialties – Officially bringing the Daewoo brand to the region as it’s authorized Distributor. From that foundation, he built a thriving company that continues to grow today.

Machine Tool Specialties now serves Oklahoma, Kansas, and Southwest Missouri, with more than 1,000 installations across the region. This success is a direct result of Jack’s lifelong commitment to his customers, employees, and vendors. Most importantly, it is a direct result of his love for his family and his faith!
