I have spent the better part of the last 35 years making sure that students of all ages know the value of manufacturing to both our economy and to our society. I have taught kids as young as first grade and adults as old as 85 what it feels like to make something. Public schools, summer camps, colleges, clubs, it doesn’t matter where. What matters is that people understand that the human brain needs to create something in order to grow. What better way to do this than through manufacturing.
