The Manufacturing Ledger is a dynamic, interactive exhibit celebrating the people who power innovation — from visionary inventors and machine tool pioneers to dedicated educators and everyday heroes who quietly shape the world through manufacturing.

Each story in the Ledger honors an individual whose work has made a lasting impact on our quality of life. Whether they built machines, taught the next generation, or kept the gears turning behind the scenes, their contributions deserve to be remembered — and shared.

Nominate someone today. Anyone can be part of the Ledger — a founder, a mentor, a trailblazer, or an everyday legend. We’ll work with you to capture their story and bring it to life with words, photos, videos, and links. Their legacy will live on as part of the American Precision Museum’s permanent digital archive.
