Engineers Week

Join us throughout February break in celebration of Engineers Week. Bring your imagination and we’ll provide the materials and prompts for exciting engineering challenges and builds.
Daily Activities from 11am – 2pm

Monday 2/17 – Zipline Challenge

Design a vehicle powered by a wind-up propeller to travel as far as possible along a zipline.

Tuesday 2/18 – Water Wheel Build

Connect with the origins of APM as you engineer the most powerful water wheel possible.

Wednesday 2/19 – Snow Structures*

Snow is a wonderful building material. Learn about compression, insulation, and more as you build arches and other snow structures.

Thursday 2/20 – Zipline Challenge

Design a vehicle powered by a wind-up propeller to travel as far as possible along a zipline.

Friday 2/21 – Circuits & Solder

Learn the basics of circuit design to turn on lights and spin motors. Then build your engineering and making skills as you practice soldering components together.
