ABOUT THE PROJECT

The goal of the Floor 2 The Future fundraising campaign is to raise $2,800,000 by December 2026 to renovate and reclaim the second floor of our existing building that is currently being used for storage of pieces from APM’s collection currently not on display. This project will expand APM’s usable space by 45%. It will allow APM to hold educational events, a maker space for hands-on learning opportunities, and a conference center for community and corporate functions.

Floor 2 The Future will allow APM to continue our mission of preserving the history of manufacturing and the machine tool industry, creating partnerships with corporate members and community organizations, and educating and inspiring the next generation of makers and innovators.

These funds will provide APM with the space and the tools for the next 60 years of:

• Inspiring the next generation of manufacturers
• Providing a meeting and function space for our community and our corporate partners
• Continuing to tell the important story of American Manufacturing
