Auto Engineering GSGWM
November 19 @ 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Girl Scouts of the Green & White Mountains Event!
Preregistration through GS required.
Juniors come join The American Precision Museum and earn your Automotive 2 Engineering Badge.
You will learn about the six simple machines, get a brief tour of the museum, and examine a real life engine before getting to construct your own battery- powered prototypes.
Once the group has successfully built base-car together, each participant will spend the rest of the time designing and creating new versions of their cars. Girl Scouts will be able to modify their cars to run on a variety of energies, including solar panels or wind, and to cross over different terrains. While the first part of the program, constructing the original car, will be done together, the second part will allow for as much independence and creativity as each Girl Scout wants to bring.
